In his pre-game show Lambo said his goal was just to win and get on the bus. They got into Peoria at about 2:30 am this morning.

Shocks won the first set 25-18 and are leading the second set 15-7.

Let's put this one away as quickly as possible and head home.

Shocks win the seond set 25-15.

Emily Adney with 13 kills so far.

So far sounds like the Shocks have been pretty business-like in their execution.

Shocks take care of business and should sleep well on the long bus ride home.

          Shocks 25-18, 25-15 and 25-13.

Emily Adney with 16 kills, 0 errors on 30 attempts (0.533).

Hannah Eakin gets her 1st kill as a Shocker.

Way to take care of business Shocks. The Braves never had a prayer.

          :good: :goshocks:

Anybody catch the glaring miscue in the article?

I think it's funny as hell, considering most people refer to them as NIU.. Looks like kansas.com personnel are aware of the obscurity of the Frostbite school as well.
              Deuces Valley.
              ... No really, deuces.
