The Shocks have not played terrible and are giving it pretty much all they have.

KSU lost in Lincoln this year 16, 16 and 25.

Nebraska has a 72 match home winning streak. Winning even a game in Lincoln would be quite an accomplishment.

Nebraska has lost only 8 games all year, 3 in the loss to Texas when I promise you they were playing about 10 notches below where they are now.

They should not lose a game the rest of the way. They are phenominal and deep.

It is disgusting how young the team is as they only lose 3 seniors. Outstanding seniors (Pavin, Hotel and Stalls) but the cupboard is stacked to blast their way to more championships.

Perhaps one more game left in the careers of Sara Lungren and Abby Harsh.

Two future Shocker Hall of Famers.

Not only will they be missed but they will leave some big shoes to fill next year.

What the heck, let's just extend those careers a little longer Shocks.

I agree. I was a little disappointed that we had to go to Lincoln and play the #2 seed. But on the other hand at least we didn't get them in the first round.
Well if we had taken care of buisness in the confrence tourny then we might not have landed in this spot. That loss dropped us just far enough in the rankings to get us a bad draw. Its a tough spot to be in for sure. I'm proud of the girls though they are doing their best and are clearly outgunned. Nebraska is just loaded. I'd like to see a little more decisiveness from the girls on the front line. Not that I could do any better against those men...errrr girls from nebraska though. In game 2 we had a few times we gave up points because of confusion as to who was going to dig the ball. Have to play perfect from here on out. Lets give them hell and try to steal the next game.

Jordan Larsen may have the best serve I have seen in Women's College VB.

02, Katlyn Anderson and Melissa Granville back up the setter position this year but it is pretty much understood that incoming freshman, Mary Elizabeth Hooper, will be the immediate starter and fill in quite nicely for Abbey. AH has been great but MEH is in a different world coming out of high school. Also don't fall asleep on Dana Loganbill. She could be a Sara Pavin clone. 8)

Great start to game 3. 4-1 Shocks.

Pavin gets her 1st swing of game 3 so 4-2 now.

3 points too late, TO Shocks.

                      10-7 skers.

Pavan doesn't even need a good set to hammer a kill. Wow!

Hoteli wasn't even recruited very heavily. And she was NCAA POY. NU's coaching staff knows how to get everything out of the players. They are very, very good and I really would like to see at least a game 4.

Lindsey Eckenrode has given a good account of herself also. Not playing scared and not afraid to attack the ball.
