Oklahoma has also been mentioned by Eric Bossi in being interested in Buddy. However that was before Capel was fired.

Is Buddy from Wichita or is he another kid at Sunrise from somewhere else?

Thats not a negative or positive thing, just might help with his view of WSU if he is from here.

What are his size/weight? What kind of guard is he? Pass first or shooter? Strengths? Weaknesses? Stats, if you have them?

Nevermind, trop. Completely read over where you listed him at 6-3 the first time. Sorry about that.

Eric Bossi on Buddy Hield: "One of those charged with getting the two big men the ball is junior combo guard Buddy Hield. A long, 6-foot-3, shooter with deep range, confidence and a quick trigger, Hield is very comfortable in his role as a leader."

I like to hear that. We really missed having a sharpshooter this year (i.e. Hannah, Ogirri). Kyles had his moments where he was one of the best shooters I'd ever seen, but we need someone with more consistency.

Kyles and Hatch were streaky, though. After Smith went off in late January-early February, he had trouble finding himself open from the outside. I'm not trying to take anything away from Hatch, Kyles or Smith, they're great shooters. But they're not cheer-before-it-goes-in, deadly accurate. Know what I mean?

Looking at that list of yearly leaders, none of those guys give me the "good before they shoot" feeling, but I liked them when they selected good in-the-flow shots.
