A "4" man that demands at least a dig in the post and is capable of going for 10 and 8 on any night and hits 65% of his free throws and means it when he commits a foul is what we need next year. Carl Hall doesn't need to be the second coming of AC to really help us. We will be short on people full of piss and vinegar next year. Of course, we're short on them this year too.
You mean guys like X, Ryan and Ramon. :-x

    • Carl Hall had 19 points and 10 rebounds in Northwest Florida's loss tonight to Tallahassee Community College. The score was 61-60.

A Northwest Florida player called a timeout when none were left at the end of the game, and a technical was called against Northwest Florida. The opposing player made 1 of 2 free throws. A tough way to lose the game.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

                  • He wants to play at 250 next year.

6'8", 250 lbs. and apparently with some attitude. I like!

Carl loves to play D and block shots. I can't wait for his Sr. year. a 7' shot blocker and a 6'8" shot blocker (both pretty solidly built and athletic) is something we haven't seen in a long time. Actually, we've never seen that.

I still remember seeing Wes Unseld at Levitt Arena. Nobody got within about 3' of him. It wasn't safe. I'm hoping for that kind of presence wearing black and gold.

Let the perimeter guys drive to the hoop. What are they going to do when they get there? Go strong to the hoop and they might still be holding the ball when it hits the floor.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The only thing I'm worried about is The Valley better learn how to ref big men, and fast.

The Valley and the Big 12 have most of the same refs... just sayin'. :D

In fact the Texas/K-State refs last night were the same guys who do our games. Yes, there was some banging, but I witnessed the same banging during the WSU/Mo. State game. Texas and K-State both shot a lot of free throws.

                        • I doubt we are done recruiting for next Seasons squad. Mr. Hall appears to be a keeper and a player that can give immediate help next Season. Carl Hall appears to be our key recruit thus far.

                          • No doubt Hall will be the BIGGEST addition to next years team. I, too, doubt we are done recruiting. Not convinced our 5's can consistently sustain over 40 minutes, so Hall will have to pull a "Durley double duty" and play some 5.

Almost as much will be expected out of Jake White, because I have zero confidence that J-Ham will be here let alone contribute what we need. With that said, we need another 6-7 to 6-9 guy to play 15-20 minutes a game like his hair is on fire.

                            • Didn't Mr. Hall have to sit out a game this year because of an altercation with another player? Not looking for T's or suspensions but am hoping for some attitude.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
