The last sentence is a big understatement.
Notice also that the first sentence uses the same language from the NW Florida newspaper article, which means wushock found the article online but couldn't be bothered to take three seconds to copy and paste a link to his source. Don't be a douche, wushock. Put the link in there.
That might be but I suggest going easy on wushock. This information has been known for a while in Wichita, I guarantee. It's possible he found out about it through another source.

    • In the words of the late Nipsy Russell portraying the principal in the 1980s Goldie Hawn football flick "Wildcats" ...

      "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight."
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

      • Hope Hall is OK long term. We need help at the 4 next year. Understatement.

        • Paul S. had this on shockwaves today:

According to WSU assistant Chad Dollar, Carl Hall will not play tonight for Northwest Florida State College. All his tests came back fine, but he will take a few days off to recover from the testing and play Tuesday against Chipola.

What does he have to prove at JuCo?

I don't see a problem with them being over cautious with him the rest of their season.
By red-shirting his 1st year of Juco due to this problem and now "resting", if true, the remainder of this season, I don't believe the young man will, or perhaps, should continue his athletic endeavors.

I guess I'll wait for a quality source as to his medical condition.
You're going to make a ton of cash with your ability to make expert medical diagnosis through random internet stories.
LMAO. Some of you guys are so damn funny.

Shizzle, you truly have made my day. :yahoo:
Glad I could help Shizzle make your day RDR. Apparently, it doesn't take much.

As I said Shizzle, IF TRUE, I was merely showing concern for someone who would have missed 1 1/2 years of the last 3 to a heart problem (some would think that potentially serious) and followed that by saying a random story is not near enough to make any real thought about.

I should have known my less than adequate wording would have been in your crosshairs, as making sport of fellow Shocker supporters seems to be one of your favorite passtimes. Carry on.

If I'm allowed, Coach Dollar's statement is encouraging.

            • Good news, Carl Hall was cleared by doctors to play tonight against Chipola.
He had a 14 point, 7 rebound performance in their win tonight.

Great news! Looks like the time off didn't affect him too much. Hope he continues to feel better and there are no other problems. We could really use him next year.

                  • Northwest Florida played Gulf Coast tonight, and I can not find a website that is reporting the scores yet, let alone statistics on Carl Hall.

                    Help???

Just a tidbit of info - Northwest Florida State College opened a new arena for Basketball on January 5, 2011 that seats 2,200 at a cost of 31 million dollars.

Looks like Hall had 15/7 in the 87-41 win
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

                      • The $31 million arena is part of a building that has other departments. So it was much more than just the arena.

Sounds like he's back in game form!

                            Take care of yourself, Carl!

                            • Perhaps this is the tough, hard-nosed, talented post player we've been yearning for. I hope he ends up being a difference maker for the Shockers.

A "4" man that demands at least a dig in the post and is capable of going for 10 and 8 on any night and hits 65% of his free throws and means it when he commits a foul is what we need next year. Carl Hall doesn't need to be the second coming of AC to really help us. We will be short on people full of piss and vinegar next year. Of course, we're short on them this year too.
