His profile link from Page 1 of this thread still works .... but his name has been removed from the Seward roster.

In his last game, he shot 3-13 -- including 1-10 from three point range -- with 7 TO in a loss to Pratt.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Although he left the team, Smith remains in classes at Seward. He will visit Gonzaga at the end of this month. The following article mentions his recruitment by Georgia State, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Western Kentucky. No mention of the Shockers.

Unless it's a HUGH and rational reason, I would have to agree. Trop - Any word on the reasons for leaving a third place team?

No specific reasons given for leaving the team. It was a "mutual decision." He said the grind prepares one for D-1 where things come easier and more natural. "Theres gonna be more resources."

Offers by Western Kentucky and Gonaga and interest by K-State, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State was mentioned.

I wonder how he knows that in D1 things will come easier and more natural? I hope who ever picks him up has those "more resources" ready to go. Sounds like he may really need them.
