Rivals is bad about dropping us as a school of interest one high majors are involved. I doubt if a recruit has always ruled out WSU when we are dropped from a list. Sometimes I think they just make that assumption.

Unfortunately in Noel's case, I don't believe he has ever mentioned us. I don't think the conspiracy includes Noel but I do think there is one.

According to "Cheese" Noel is still open, but likes USC, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Memphis, UCLA, Connecticut, N.C. State, along with Georgia Tech."
They just got back from a GT visit, and "Cheese" was impressed with Hewitt.

The plusses I see for WSU are Cheese and X and there's an opening at wing.

The ginormous minus I see is Cheddar being compared to Cheese. That's a possible lose/lose situation. Why be compared to your Dad? If your better, it takes away from your Dad's rep. If you're worse it's laid out in front of you for the rest of your life.

I doubt there's an icicle's chance in hell that WSU signs Cheddar, but I'm going to follow his college career no matter where he plays.

They are not recruting him and neither is what's his name at North Carolina so we might be OK.

KU is on the list of schools recruiting him according to Rivals. But even they know there's little to no chance he'd ever be a Jayhawk.

That Rivals list doesn't include Louisville or USC on it, and they're his leaders, so I don't think anyone's updated it in a while. KU will certainly not be where Johnson ends up.

Remember John Smith? He was a top 50 recruit and I doubt many dreamed we would land him. X-Man probably helped a ton. Mo Evans was one that many felt would sign with KU, but rather came here. Noel is even a longer shot to land than these two were. However, he would make the best macaroni for our craving for quality Shocker cheese.
