I could get really stoked about Little Cheddar coming here. I can think of every reason that he would ....Great evironment, His Father, Godfather, Tradition, etc. The only problem that I see is that none of the scouting services that I follow have us on his radar.

Are we wishful thinking here? I really hope not. Does someone know something that the rest of us don't know ?

Many of us have said it before so I will say it again. Many of us are already Noel fans no matter what. However, it is a dream of mine that he becomes a Shocker. The scary part is, Noel has a chance to even be better than Cheese. Now that is saying alot. Here at WSU, he would be an immediate hit with the fans to say the very least.

How many other Boards like Shocker-Net already have 217 posts about this young man at Schools that are also recruiting him? I doubt if there are many if any. SubGod22, you keep hoping because sometimes dreams come true. Great team players attract other great players to follow. Carr and Cliff were examples of that. If it is not Noel, this new Staff will find us some quality talent that will mold together and take us to the basketball promise land in due time.

By the way, we are already on page 11 on Noel here on S.N. and he is a Junior--(11th grade) right?

I'm going to follow Noel's future career no matter where he plays.

Marshall has demonstrated he can groom at least potential NBA players at Winthrop. That's a tough place to do that.

Marshall has a pretty good reputation in the Southern states, where the HS players probably paid more attention to what he did at Winthrop than what Turgeon did at WSU.

If Marshall can put together a team that has most of the rest of the pieces - or at least what looks like potential for the rest of the pieces - then...

...Our best chance is for Chedda to get with some of his AAU teammates and say, "let's go to WSU and hang some F4 banners to show what we can do".

It could happen. It's a long shot, but a long shot is better than no shot. I suspect Marshall will continue to recruit Noel as if he was the highest priority recruit for WSU. I expect Marshall will ignore the fact that all the top-tier schools will be recruiting Noel.

As Aargh said in another thread, add a couple of 7 footers to the roster, and this would be an outstanding place for Noel or a 3 man of his caliber.
