  • Eric Bossi on Evan in his article about the Hy-Vee Shootout:

"A standout on the football field as well, the future Wichita State Shocker is an outstanding compliment to Perry Ellis. He can run the point, is a terrific playmaker for others and has a knack for scoring between five and 15 feet off of the dribble. With his shaggy hair and physical style, he's the kind of guy who opposing fans could grow to hate while wishing he played for them. He was good for 15 points, four rebounds and five assists."

I believe this is a free link.

Put some glasses on him...he looks like Karl Papke. I would take that on-court comparison as well (I know, people have gotten in trouble lately for comparing players).

        • So can we expect that EW would be just as complimentary a player in say college to say PE? :yahoo:

                • Outrebounded a pair of 6-7 post players vs Southeast by himself.

Shot 1-6 FT; 15 of 25 going into game, so 16 of 31. perhaps We need to send Mrs. Gregg Marshall to help him on the charity stripe.

"Does a little bit of everything." "versatility and individual toughness that usually leads to success in the Missouri Valley."

I know I read the rivals article before and re read it this time but really doesn't "versatility and individual toughness" lead to success in any conference?

I think that's code for a good player that doesn't stand out in any paticular way from the crowd. I believe Wessel is a mediocre shotter, has good but not great athleticism, handles, and vision, and is a good defender. Not high major, but able to compete.

His biggest priority during year one won't be scoring on offense, or being a defensive stopper...it will be to deliver Perry Ellis to 21st & Hillside. :yahoo:

I sure hope not. And I sure hope EW doesn't give a damn about idiotic statements like yours. And I'm sure glad you're not the coach.

                                From New Collegiate Dictionary:

Fun: Provides amusement or enjoyment; playful often boisterous action or speech.

Clueless (ripemupshocks picture next to definition): Completely or hopelessly bewildered, unaware, ignorant or foolish.

Hey cluelessshocks...get back on your meds and don't take me or yourself quite so serious. It's a fanboard...it's ok to have some fun and goof around a little.

PS - Did you care to notice the emoticon next to my post? It's all in fun. :yahoo:
