I saw EW play against Kapaun a few weeks ago and he is impressive. He has a real nose for the ball and a very high BB IQ. I hope he signs with the Shox.
He reminds me of MSU's Kyle Weems. Sorry if that offends anyone :D it's meant as a compliment. Weems is a stud.
Does anyone know if the ref in the pic one of our posters ?
:wsu_posters:
Don't know but he is about 5 foot nothing.
Can't be a MVC ref because he is in correct position to make the call. :D
For the record, that ref isn't me and I don't think I've ever seen him personally so no idea about him. Last time I was in the gym at West we had an ejection in a freshamn girls game because one of the West girls spun and swung on a girl from South. Good times
I keep hearing nothing but good things from people about EW. The more I hear the more I hope we land him. I'd still like to get a chance to see Heights play but not sure where that's going to fit into my schedule. Anyone know where they play sub-state this year?
If Stanford offers and he has the grades, it will hard to win a recruiting battle with them. A Stanford degree is worth as much as any Ivy League school.

He is in the right position, but he is also watching the ball go through the hoop.
That's a no-no.
His primary responsibility is keep his eyes on the players underneath for flying elbows, etc.
The center and trail are there to can take care of any rim action.
My understanding is Evan's game elevates Perry's to a higher level which good point guards do. It would be great if Perry became a Shocker someday. If so, these high school teammates would get at least 3 Seasons together. Welcome Evan!!!!!!! It feels good to get some solid local players as Shockers!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
Couldn't quite figure that out myself. It could happen but still...
Murry and Kyles will be SRs. KJ and DWill JRs. Possible JUCO SR or HS SO (last 'ship this year). Considering Evans possible ability to play all three perimeter positions I'd say he could very well play as a true FR. Although, it also depends on who we get with the other 3 'ships as well.

Coach Auer says that Evan is projected to grow to 6'7". He will be a three.
