I don't have many friends on this board but the good Doc is one of them, and I fight for my friends.

Now I will go back to watching everyone else ruin this board.

This young man is far too intelligent to make his decision based upon the outcome of 1 game. I feel very confident that his decision is already made.

Whoa guy. All Doc said was that he felt very confident that Johnny had already made his decision. How is that saying he KNOWS what Johnny's decision is? He may be in a position to know, but that's not what he said. It's not a stretch to feel Johnny's decision is already made given the fact that school starts the week of the 19th. Johnny has been studying on this decision for some time now, and I, too, certainly feel he already knows where he is going. The outcome of one basketball game will not alter that decision. Teams get better and teams get worse, so making this important of a decision based on how a team is playing right now is NOT a mature way of going about it. And one thing that has been reported on this board is that Johnny Coy is not only intelligent but is very mature for all his 19 years, and he has great family support.

You guys are too easy to get all riled up. Yes, I know JC won't make his decision on the outcome of the DU vs WSU game but I thought I would revive the topic since it was dead for a while. It worked! :D

In my opinion, JC's visit to the Drake game is simply as a courtesy to his former recruiter, to show him some love if you will. He'd be crazy not to come here. All of us already have a man-crush on him, he'd have 10,500 screaming fans cheering him on rather than 4,500 at DU, and how could he pass up putting on that beautiful black Under Armour jersey with the yellow flying 'W' when he takes the field at the Eck.

If I had to take a guess I would say he will give his commitment to a coach tomorrow after the game.

I'll admit to being nervous. I hope Coy comes here. If not, I'll still root for JC when he isn't playing the Shocks. In the long run, I think WSU would be a good choice for him.
