There are restrictions on contacting recruits. It would seem those would affect WSU coaches from maintaining contact with Orukpe. We didn't hire Kelvin Sampson.

I'm confident the coaches have 3 Rivers basketball offices on speed dial and are in pretty regular contact with those guys.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Here's another article from just a week ago. Definitely sounds like a project. Not just on the basketball court.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is Nevada's most trusted source for local news, Las Vegas sports, business news, gaming news, entertainment news and more.

If you're near 7 feet on a team with little inside game -- or at least none that would worry good opponents -- and you can't get off the bench, you're at least a year or two from being able to contribute much at this level.

Thanks Juco... 2 good articles. Stars, Smars! We all get too worked up over how many stars are assigned to a recruit. Maybe HCGM feels Garett needs to work against another 7 footer this spring and summer while waiting for EO? Regardless, I still trust our coach... if he thinks it's worth taking a chance, I'll be the first to provide...

If so, he didn't look 7' tall.

I thought there was a guy sitting in the first row behind the scorer's table. He was dressed in khaki pants and a khaki and red sweater. He didn't stand up the entire game (didn't know if it was due to his height blocking the fans view). If it was him, he seemed pretty into the game. I saw him clapping a few times during the game.

Beas is apparently still interested in Indiana as he was at a recent game. They are already one over their scholarship limit for next year.

SC paper says Hamga is at S. Carolina today and Rutgers tomorrow. He may look at even more schools before making a decision.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Newspaper says Hamga is down to Rutgers, S. Carolina and DePaul, with USC probably leading.
