There are restrictions on contacting recruits. It would seem those would affect WSU coaches from maintaining contact with Orukpe. We didn't hire Kelvin Sampson.

If you're near 7 feet on a team with little inside game -- or at least none that would worry good opponents -- and you can't get off the bench, you're at least a year or two from being able to contribute much at this level.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

Maybe HCGM feels Garett needs to work against another 7 footer this spring and summer while waiting for EO? I thought there was a guy sitting in the first row behind the scorer's table. He was dressed in khaki pants and a khaki and red sweater. He didn't stand up the entire game (didn't know if it was due to his height blocking the fans view). If it was him, he seemed pretty into the game. I saw him clapping a few times during the game.Comment
