I guess we've started to recruit with the big boys as Marshall has stated.

This kid was a rivals 5 star and a scout 4 star, he was also the #26 player in the nation by rivals.

Was a freshman redshirt, burned this semester, sets this approaching spring semester, sets next fall semester, then plays in January of 2010, and the two following seasons. Loses a year.

Yeah, something seems weird about a 5* player redshirting his Freshman year anywhere, and this was a non basketball-blueblood school like UNLV.

Still, no matter what we say about the recruiting services, he had to be plenty good at at least a few tournaments to impress them up to five star levels.

Yep, that is evident from the one comment on that story.... "Beas and his handlers better get a grip on reality. He may play at Wichita but those other schools will recruit over him. Why not try the A-10 or MAC?"

I wouldn't take much stock in on-line comments... those usually come from 'clueless' nutjobs... see the Eagle.
