Johnny is meeting with Coach Phelps at Drake today.

I think his brother said Johnny is attending the Drake vs MSU game tomorrow. Tip time is 2:05...my guess is you will be able to hear crickets chirping in their arena. It is $1 day, so maybe that will be incentive for people to leave work and go to the game.

You are kidding right? $1.00 gets you into a MENS division one basketball game? If they can't fill every seat that would be pathetic. I don't think the doc and I are related but I do agree with 99% of what he has to say. The fact they have to have a promotion to fill the arena should tell Coy more than anyone else could.

Or it could mean that a majority of their fans are students who are out of town, therefore, they need the locals who don't normally attend to come and fill the seats.

Before Christmas Break break Drake was averaging 4,000 fans per game. Hope that clears things up.
