Agreed, might end up being a good player for us, but everybody seems pretty much over-enthusiastic.

This article seems to indicate that our interest in Alex is more than just casual as we are mentioned as schools he is considering:
I read somewhere where he had 19 rebounds and 9 points, and some blocks but can not find the article again:

I really think that if this kid gets an offer, he is going to be a Shocker. These international students love Wichita State.

Just to repeat the beginning of this thread, here are his numbers from last weekends all star game:
He played in the Big Apple Basketball Scholarship Games this past weekend, which features the top 40 unsigned high school seniors in the New York City area. In his game, he scored 17 points and grabbed 19 rebounds along with 4 blocks and 4 assists.

Now I know where I read it ... LOL
I don't know, he might just be coming into his own. Call me crazy, but I have a good feeling about him, and I did about Chamberlain too. Just a gut thing!!!
At least his last name isn't hard to pronounce, and I believe Greece has had some good International players in the past.

Interesting take, Snap. I had a good feeling about Chamberlain because I saw his stats from HS and JC and I saw him play.
I do not have a similar feel about this fella. His list of schools does not turn heads and Charolette is apparently not interested in him. If I saw his stats from more than a single game (and they were really good), I might feel differently. Then again, he may be a world beater...Wear your seatbelt.

If I remember correctly they did beat the US in the goodwill games.
From searching greek basketball players this person sticks out the most.
And they have been offereing Kosta Koufos *from Ohio State* millions of dollars since middle school to move to Greece and play in their league

No one who plays Fat Tony will ever lose their career...!
Based off of his comments, goshocks has already signed 12 kids so far this years recruiting class - and he isn't done yet.
He hasn't seen any of his 'signees' and couldn't identify any of them in a police line up, but all will be "a fit" for the team. Wow. 8)Above all, make the right call.

Now trying to say some good things....he has only been in the US this past year and probably needs to make adjustments in his game. And, as his body develops he will be stronger. He is a project but maybe has potential since he can knock down the 3 pointers. In the fast lane
