I imagine that there was no indication he was leaving until Heier left...and then we were down two assistants. The week before that Marshall stated that we were done recruiting 2017, so it is fair to say that Marshall was caught by surprise by this.

This is a unique opportunity to add a significant piece to a very talented team. If we are looking for a person to play a major role right away the coaches have to be very picky. If we are developing some young prospect for the future it is easier. The first weekend to bring in any prospect the coaches were out evaluating tournaments.I can wait a little longer to get the best player for either scenario.
