Apparently a scholarship offer is somewhat like a verbal commitment from a student athlete. It is non-binding and can be withdrawn anyitme before an LOI is signed. Generally, I doubt that the offer would be withdrawn if the student makes a verbal commitment that is accepted by the school but legally I suppose that is possible.
If all 23 of these guys called up today to make a verbal commitment WSU obviously has to narrow the field. I suppose it is possible that some of these offers have already been quietly recscinded. Not sure the recissions are tracked like the offers are tracked but maybe that's not the case.

Then there are the other 4 offers that they are handing out as we speak, LOL.

Help me complete the following statement:
We appear to be offering an obscene amount of 2018 recruits because...
1. We have an obscene amount of scholarships available.
2. We are in the AAC and that gets more coverage.
3. We are offering higher profile athletes and that gets more coverage.
4. @shocks02: s a recruiting guru that works for Rivals. He has inside info.
5. WSU is now getting the coverage it deserves.
6. Our new assistant coach is a swimmer, and since Gregg Marshall insists he shave everyday, he shaves a lot more than we are used to. Like, dude is bald EVERYWHERE!
7. When players are offered by Weber St, Washington State, or Wright State the recruiting sites assume they mean WSU = Shockers?Livin the dream
