I'm basing my most current sample/specimen on the Dayton thriller. If Shaq would have played more than 14 minutes the game might not have been in doubt as it was til the end. There were several games this year, often even, when he went to the bench early. No?

Some of this can be said of any player from time to time. I seem to remember LS fouling out in 10 minutes when we really needed him against Tulsa when Fred was playing injured (yes, I know, he was a raw freshman). We could have used CF making just a few shots against Michigan State instead of going 0-6.

The point is that his fouls in the Dayton game had become an outlier for him during the last 2/3s of the season. Shaq fouled out 1 time early this season and only had 4 fouls twice in his last 25 games.

Well I'm not gonna, because that'd be like some jerk who lost a job blaming it on overzealous bosses when everyone who worked around said employee would verify what an intolerable jerk said employee was. Shaq needs to quit setting late picks. He's too valuable to the team to be sitting on the bench.
