Not to be a jerk, but if I'm Montana State, and that kid wants to play for me, I don't care what my space limitations are, I'm finding a way to get him on campus!

From the Hutch News twitter today:

Gillette's Kavell Bigby-Williams is something of a menace. He can score, rebound, and block shots. He has like 500 blocks already today.

Thanks for the report. He will be a great catch for a very fortunate team. Not sure he has cracked the Juco top 50 yet, but after he is done in Hutch, it would not surprise me if lots of Programs start licking their chops and wagging their tail to try to sign him.

Is KBW Chadrack Lufile 2.0? Or am I misremembering CJ's Juco career?

My son-in-law saw the Gillette team at the Golden Corral in Hays and said they had "one big dude" I suggested 6'10" and he said he thought bigger.

Although the Pronghorns mainly have freshmen on their roster, they have the calming influence of 6-foot-10 sophomore Kavell Bigby-Williams, whose demeanor never changed, no matter the score or situation.

“As a sophomore, I’m the leader,” Bigby-Williams said. “I have to continue to play hard and get the team going.”

Bigby-Williams was more than a leader Tuesday. The freakishly athletic Bigby-Williams flirted with a triple-double finishing with 13 points, 10 blocked shots and nine rebounds.

We looked good against Vandy running Rauno, Shaq, and Markis. It might be worthwhile having a couple more bigs.

Gillette won. Williams might be a decent backup, but I'd rather have Nurger

Is there a picture of he and Rauno standing together we can go all CSI over?

Williams may very well be the top shot blocker/rim protector in all Juco ball. Thus, due to potential injuries in a Season, I'd rather have both. Now who knows if we even have a shot at this player? Not I. However, a rim protector that can also rebound and score sounds like a prototype Shocker that 3G is looking for.

While a player like this might be a sub, Williams sounds like one that would play lots of minutes in due time and maybe a solid starter before you know it for some fortunate team. If we are not close to getting Williams, another similar type player to compliment Shaq and Willis please. Ships? 3G can count with the best of them.
