Kavell has been putting up some nice numbers. A rim protector.

Coach Marshall likes rim protection and this big leads the nation with just over 6 per game.

Specifically 16 rebounds & 12 blocks in the Casper game... Yikes!

Disclaimer: Casper might be loaded with midgets and "friendly ghosts".

For what it's worth, they won the game 97-69. They go to Hutch.

I think they play next Tuesday vs. the winner of Neosho County CC vs Harford College.

@calfan: is all over it, the Hutch bracket is out, Gillette is the #8 overall seed and plays Tuesday at 4:30.

This kid has been NJCAA Player of the Week twice this year and put up some ridiculous numbers - makes me wonder what the competition is like in Gillette, WY?? I plan to venture up to Hutch to catch him in action against hopefully some good competition.

Was #2 ranked player at Deng Top 50 2014 Camp for under 19 players in UK. #3 was Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye from Bradley.

                      Video from that camp. http://youtu.be/_SmGhj506Xw

Other videos available appear to be against a few different Shockernet All Star teams.

Seems like a decent player with plenty of athletic ability. Now, as to how that would translate to high D1 basketball, I'm not sure.

While I really, really like Shaq, I don't think it would hurt to pick up another big, especially one that appears from the eye test to be a true center. Hope we can get him.
