    • Evan changed his name to Charlie Hustle this year. Might be why you guys forget about him all the time.

He's gonna start betting on our games?

As long as he bets on us to win, I'm gonna follow his lead!!

Actually not quite true. He played sparingly as a freshman. As a sophomore he started the first seven or eight games prior to injury, at which point he took a red-shirt. As a RS sophomore he backed up Cotton and missed a ton of three pointers. The starters on that team were FVV, Baker, Cotton, Early, and Lufile/Colbey. He then returned to the starting line-up as a RS junior.

              • How did a thread about Anton Grady turn into a history lesson on Evan Wessel?

The Shockernet Attention Span Syndrome (ASS) strikes again.

At this point in the off-season I'm just happy things are still in Shocker related territory. We need games.

                  • Although I completely understand why they decided against it, now is the time when I wish we would've taken a summer tour just to hold us over for he season. Would have been cool to see the old guys sit and watch and help coach up the young guys.

                    • Can't peak too early if you're planning to play 40 games, Shockda.

Plus, can you imagine the reaction on here if Grady came back with tendinitis in his knees? As punishment, any posters who had advocated playing the foreign tour would be rounded up, sent into exile in Junction City, and bused to all K-State home basketball games this coming year.

Not all bad. After all, they would get front-row seats to see KU lose to another in-state team. Plus, now they could lead the courtstorming which is both hilarious and would cost KState money or future home games(http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-bas...b-bowlsby-fine). Not to mention the fun of rooting for the likes of Maryland-Eastern Shore and Columbia knowing they have a realistic shot at winning.

Hence the "understand why they decided against it" and the "would've been cool to see the old guys sit and watch and coach up the young guys." :)

                          • Yes, Grady is indeed a Shocker. Here's the deal. Our beloved Shocks will be solid this Season according to Lindy's magazine. FVV is picked player of the year in this here Valley with Baker also on the 1st Team All-Conference team. Then, I like to be reminded they also picked Anton Grady the Newcomer of the year in the Valley and on the 2nd team All Conference and he has not even scored a basket yet, rebounded yet like a rock star, or defended like a warrior. Yet, is the key word thrice here. Now, that is not all we have going on this very Season, but what a jump-start to the slant of positive expectations that History teaches is very probable with our Program. Yes, this has been mentioned here on SN before but what the hey. Oct. draweth nigh and we are ready to have some more fun watching our Shocks reach new heights.
