4-6 more minutes per game than Darius Carter? I'll be OK with that.

Let's say our starting line-up is, hypothetically, FVV, RB, EW, AG, and SM. I think the back-up lineup of CF, Shamet, Brown, Kelly, and Bush might be pre-season third in the Valley.
I'd put McDuffie in that backup lineup and maybe Hamilton, too.

Too early for me to make any predictions about freshman getting minutes. I'm certainly excited about all of the freshman, but minutes will be hard to come by. I feel confident about our top 7, but after that, it's hard to know. I'm still very excited about Nurger, Wamukota, and Kelly. The more I watch Shamet, the more I think he wont ride the pine much.

          • Hopefully Wessel and Brown are both SF this coming year.

            PG
            VV
            Taylor

            SG
            Baker
            Frankamp / Shamet

            SF
            Wessel
Brown (these 2 also fill in some at SG pre-Frankamp
            McDuffie

            PF
            Grady
            Kelly
            Hamilton
            C
            Morris
            BWam
            Nurger

            Just guessing.

Really tough to box these guys in to one position. Some can play multiple. We all know Baker will play some PG. Brown and Wessel will play some SG and PF. Grady will play some C. Nurger will play some PF...and so on.

Didn't Conner play a little point in his limited minutes at the school up north? Or am I mis-remembering?

              • Conner can play the point. Can he play it for WSU? Don't know, but I think he can.

Obviously. So why are you insulting someone that's clearly being sarcastic?

                  • Yes, CF can play the point, and likely will some...there are so many options; it's a great problem to have.

They say that rebounding translates well, so hopefully he can get close to his 8 rpg. His assist, steals, and block numbers are where we are going to see a big step up over DC. He basically averages 3 times what DC did in all those categories. AND he is an all defensive player. WSU is a much better team today than it was yesterday!
DC would have averaged 14 if coach thought he could play with foul trouble. If AG doesn't get 14 next year it will because our young guys have really improved.

Anton Grady and Shaq Morris make the Shockers a true contender nationally. While others transfer Wichita State retains and reloads.

Wichita State just got a game changer in Anton Grady. I saw him in person this season and was VERY IMPRESSED!
