I think it applies to the 2015 class. If it was about someone from the 2016 class, then I don't think Russo's visit would have been cancelled.

An appropriate document has to be signed and received by the athletic department before than can say anything. In the case of a senior transfer, I don't think LOI's apply. They have to sign a scholarship agreement. From the player's perspective there is no reason to rush. He knows where he's going. The coaches know where he's going. We're getting a bit too entitled as fans.

At this stage of his program, nothing less than his announcement that he snagged his first 5-star McDonald's All-American should blow the roof off of Koch.

          • @TheRecruitScoop: Richmond's Alonzo Nelson-Ododa will transfer & is eligible immediately.

            6-9 235

This past season, Nelson-Ododa averaged 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He led the team and ranked sixth in the Atlantic 10 in blocks with 45, despite missing eight games with an eye injury. He was named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Defensive team this past fall.

The only thing for sure, I think, is this last scholarship will be filled with a guy whose transferring from a D1 college who is eligible immediately... Highly doubt it will be a Juco...

I don't know if we'd still be interested, but we did offer him in 2011.

So you can speculate who won't be back?

                      • My uneducated guess is that we have 2 guys that want to sign and we're trying to figure out how to make it work. Whether it be by having one pay his own way, one of our current players leave, or we just sign one guy. Trying to make it work.

                        • I still think it's graduation papers and international papers. Those are both very real possibilities. The semester hasn't ended yet in one case and as silly as it seems, we may be waiting on the mail from far away...aka we may really be waiting on some kind of odd detail regarding a foreign player.

We better get used to being patient. It took years to get EO in here :)

So you just said that we need to be patient, then a minute later, you say you think today is a great day for some great news? I hope you know something the rest of us don't.
