Word on the street is we should be signing two bigs (I heard very big bigs), meaning 1 more current player will not return. It's not quite done yet though. Who knows what that means.

The top recruit doesn't have to decide for several months as he wont be eligible until December. Best part of it is that he won't require a scholarship.

If Thon Maker is still being recruited, he is not likely to be eligible until second semester, and is unlikely to get a scholarship since they are offered on a per year basis. Wherever he goes (assuming he doesn't qualify until mid-year), he won't be receiving financial aide.

We will know our new big's name this coming week. Heard tonight from someone who knows. I don't know who it will be, just that the waiting is nearly over. FWIW, same source also told me we moved into the top 5 for a top recruit replacing the flagship. I told him, "good, now go sign him!"

I don't know about the rest of you but maybe four or five years ago, replacing the "flagship" in a kid's top 5, was a big deal but it certainly doesn't equate to blowing "the top of the roof" in my book. Blowing the top off the roof is signing a kid out from under the "flagship." So for now, I'm patiently waiting to have my socks blown off (I don't care for socks but kinda like having a roof over my head).
