Anton is a perfect fit for what we need. He's an athletic big who rebounds very well, can alter some shots and appears to be able to score the ball. He's the perfect plug and play candidate that this team needs. I will be very happy if we get him.

We've done really well with our D-1 transfers. Our JUCO's are sometimes hit or miss. You can get a Tevin, or you can get a Cle or Carl.
I think there is something to it that a D-1 player makes the transition much better to another D-1, and you also have a better barometer of opposing talent to make a judgement off of with a D-1 transfer. You can see the talent they've played. You can have a hard time finding just box scores on JUCO games sometimes.
Give me Anton all day over Ahmed, but that's just me.

Unfortunately, Anton Grady has had three knee surgeries. I've had three knee surgeries. I'm betting he can jump higher than me, but I'm also betting after having three knee surgeries, it's probably not much (and I can't jump).
I don't know whether Ahmed Mohammed or Anton Grady would be better for us, Grady has disappeared in big games last year and Mohammed is a crap shoot.
I'm for whomever HCGM wants.

Grady's numbers last year (14.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.4 bpg) all accrued after his most recent knee surgery, and he played 29.7 mpg without missing a game. His mobility isn't what it used to be but he is certainly still quite effective.
I think a lot of posters fail to realize that recruiting this time of year (for the upcoming season) is like shopping at TJ Maxx ten minutes before they close on Christmas Eve. 99.9% of what's left is ****, absolute ****, so don't be picky when a seriously legit option pops up that is head and shoulders above everything else available, because rest assured that if you don't grab it, someone else is going to swoop in and make it their own as soon as you walk away.
