Not good at judging those things, but that would be great!

Eric Hamilton lists himself at 6-9 220 on his Twitter Profile. Not bad!

The Big Dawg was 6'9 and 220 as a Freshman. What did he end up weighing?

He was around 290 recently. ;)

Markis takes his final visit this weekend (SMU).

Crystal ball still heavily favors VCU but I think this one is a little harder to guess than most. I think everyone in his top tier (WSU, VCU, BC and SMU) has a good chance at landing him.

I think so too. I also hope everyone currently on the roster is playing at a level where coach isn't sure he has room for one more.

With 2 guards probably leaving and 2 seniors. I think there is room for at least 1 more.

This young man is one you're thrilled to sign, and find a way to make schollies work if that's what you have to do. I'm about as hopeful for landing Markis as I've been for anyone in a while. From what I've been able to learn I like all facets of his makup and he looks to be a great match for the Play Angry system. If you read into such things, his tweets from BC last weekend were fairly tempered, and the tweets from Wichita were as enthusiastic as I've seen from him regarding visits. I like our chances and I'm gonna party if we sign this one!

I would put the probability of either guard leaving at less than 50%.

Well, we know that Cotton is leaving so actually you are putting the chance of Baker leaving at less than 50%. I would say that if current reports that place him in the First Round are correct, it is higher than 50%. If predictions move to being a possible Top 15 pick, the possibilities go a little higher.

Whether one or both guards leave will be functions based on:
                                Achievement of team goals.
                                Achievement of individual goals.
                                Projected draft position.

I think it's way too early to speculate. I think we could go undefeated and win the tourney. We could also have a rash of injuries (like 2 years ago) and lose an undetermined number of games. Or, option 3, we could be somewhere in between.

I would think that FVV and Ron Baker are two very smart young men and would hope neither leave if they were not a lottery pick AND achieved most of their team goals.
