I watched part of the game. He's got a nice shot and contests a lot of shots underneath. He does have a bit of Cle in him. On the flip side, he needs to hit the weights. He struggled to get through screens and will be pushed around in the Valley. I also liked his teammate, 6'9" Taurean Thompson. I looked him up and it doesn't look like he has any recruiting activity. That kid has a nice mid range shot and was active underneath.

Markis and St. Anthony's will look for revenge Saturday against Roselle Catholic in the New Jersey Non-Public B Championship game. St. Anthony's is ranked 17th in the nation by USA today, and Roselle Catholic is ranked 41st. Roselle defeated St. Anthony's earlier on in the season 51-48, giving the Friars their only loss. The point guard for Roselle is Isaiah Briscoe, top 10 recruit, and headed to Kentucky. Hopefully this game will be televised online somewhere.

Maybe but I seem to remember Fred Van Vleet being hyped pretty good here on SN. They changed his recruiting forum title to Shocker Superstar even before he stepped on campus...but hey that turned out pretty good, right?

Taurean Thompson is being recruited by Rutgers and is 6-10 per verbal commits. ESPN lists him as 4 stars, but grade 80, indicating they haven't seen him play.
