Probably true, Mad -- I'll try to restrain my comic impulses, just in case. Or maybe I'll send them to Ricky via PM.
In any case, good luck to Haanif; but 1972 is right: no one wins all their recruiting battles, and in reality the great majority probably "lose" most of them, especially if you consider any given offer as entering a recruiting battle for a player -- it's just math.
The key is how well your few "wins" (i.e., offers accepted) work out. And the relatively few WSU offers that have been accepted in recent years (vs. the many that haven't been) have worked out pretty well.
