That interview was something I wouldn't expect from a 17-year-old BB phenom.
His AAU coach mentioned his leadership abilities and how he lifts up his teammates when they're struggling. That interview revealed a young man who can express his ideas clearly and intelligently.
Marshall has found another in his long run of good basketball players who are also great communicators. I believe Landry will be another of the high-character players Marshall recruits. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I was very impressed with Shamet's maturity and ability to communicate at the age of 17. That kid is going somewhere in life, even if the basketball part of it up and disappears.
I'm much less impressed with FutureFattyBates running apologetics on WSU with the "golly gee it sure is unheard of for WSU to get a top 100 player". The lack of knowledge she showed on him a couple of days ago on the sportscast was equally atrocious. I'm about done with her, as well as the entirety of the KWCH sports department. Since Heartl left they have gone from the clear leader, to the clear numero tres in the Wichita market.

Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

Isn't that a little harsh?
