When does practice actually start? I would think that other than seeing a game to get a taste of the atmosphere, which he's already done, the most important thing for him to do would be watch the Shocks practice live.

Shamet is #127 on the 247 Sports list. Can you show me what exactly a 3 star recruit is as written by the scouting agencies? Most of the recruiting sites only go up to 150. 3 star recruits begin at about 100 on rivals.

All of that is correct. I was implying that the major recruiting sites (rivals, scout) are undervaluing him compared to coaches. Generally those sites rank kids higher if they have strong lists.

I think proximity could play a factor, but having gotten to know him and his mother a bit, I think fit with the players and belief that the coaches and every day staff he would encounter at the University share the same goal as him are going to be the biggest factors.

I don't think anybody recruiting him right now really feels like they have the upper hand.

I'd be surprised if he cancelled his other 3 visits and committed this weekend. He may well be a Shocker, but I think he will take 3 or more of his officials.
