Bush Wamukota 7 Foot C 2014 - is a Shocker!

Bush is averaging 7.6 pts and 7.9 reb (2.9 offensive reb) through 7 games. The blocks (1.0) are a little low for a 7 footer at JC, but nice assists (1.1) and the fouls per game are decent (2.6). Percentages are ok too so far - 50% FG, 61% FT.

Went ahead and tried to answer by own question. I emailed Kilgores assistant coach for some statistical info and this is the quote from the email, "Bush plays as hard as anyone I have seen at his size, Shocker fans will fall in love with him once they have seen him play live." Looks like a consistent theme for the upcoming recruiting class.

I see that for 10 games,they record 183.5 avg min per game for the team, instead of 200,so some are short. Looks like may they missed recording time for one game,maybe. Proportionately, that would make the 10.7 minutes be 11.7 minutes.

I think it is pretty clear that we are recruiting this kid on potential alone and like that his coach told me that he is the hardest working big man he has ever had.

Look at his game log and you'll see the problem. Five of 10 games show 0 minutes played. If you only consider the five games that show minutes played, his average is 21.4, or double the 10.7 shown.

According to his stats, he took one 3-pointer (0-1). It must have been a last second attempt. I'm pretty sure he won't be taking any 3-pointers when he plays here.
