Yep. Probably best to just stay away. I definitely wouldn't tweet AT a recruit saying "we really want you here"

Although tweeting ABOUT a recruit is how a lot of people get around it. For example "Hey shocker nation, big time recruit (insert recruits twitter) will be in the house Saturday. Time to show up and show what #Shockernation is all about"
Recruit still sees the tweet, along with everyone else who follows you and it isn't a tweet directly to the recruit begging him to come. It's just a general tweet that mentions the recruit.

Either way I mostly just stay away from it to be safe.

If everyone starts following him he will see it and know we are intrigued!

This kind of stuff helps anyway..... ;) Shockernation sells itself!

@iAM_Trey3: I Literally just signed 18-22 autographs in the last 25 minutes from being at the girls game. Fan support here at #ShockerNation is crazy

Doesn't hurt that Eric was sitting at the Lady Shox game with Cle, Nick Wiggins, Tekele, and Chadrack. They had a line of kids for much of the second half of the game. I love the fact that so many kids were asking them for autographs, when 10-15 years ago our players could have gone any place and been almost unrecognized.

The only thing not pointing to Eric signing with the Shockers in the next few days are his remarks in the past about not being in a hurry. I hope, and believe he will decide there is no reason to wait. Eric could of well been a top 100 to 150 if it wasn't for lack of exposure. Most big time programs failed to see him play 5 on 5.

Saw him at the game, he was looking at his phone a lot. Then I checked Twitter and realized he kept re-tweeting all of the Shocker fans tweeting at him.

                  From kansas.com
That was recruit Eric Hamilton, a 6-foot-8 senior forward from Duluth, Ga., making an official visit to WSU. Hamilton is also considering Houston, Auburn, Oregon State, Cleveland State, Memphis, Georgia and Northwestern.

WSU moved up on his list after Saturday’s game. He enjoyed his visit, which started Friday, and liked WSU’s system and the crowd at Koch Arena.

“I’m definitely considering signing here a lot more, just based off of this visit,” he said. “I got to meet the players. I got to see what everyone else is about. I’m definitely liking it. Their playing style fits what I’m trying to do.”

The fall signing period ends Wednesday. Hamilton is undecided as to when he will sign. The next signing period begins April 16.

There are two ways to interpret his comments about considering us a lot more. One is that were not at the top of list, and now we are much higher, and he will not sign until April and take more visits. But he has consistently said he was very interested in us. The second thought is that he was already high on us, and this visit has him more inclined to sign by Wednesday. Not sure which is the case, but given comments just before the visit that he could sign earlier rather than later, I hope the second theory is the one path he chooses.

                      His tweet from this morning:

                      "Eric Hamilton ® ‏@iAM_Trey3

Thanks Wichita, Kansas for showing me the love while I was here. You guys and all the fans in #ShockerNation are amazing. #WatchUs #Wichita"

The guy can spell Wichita correctly. That puts him in the top 1% of people east of the Mississippi river and west of the Rockies.

Our crystal ball predictions are still at 100% but now with 8 experts predicting the shocks. That is even better than Rashard Kelly.

We still need that last expert (Eric Hamilton) to make his prediction.
