Signing John and EO's unexpected transcript arriving from Nigeria would about cover our SN Christmas wish list and land us a Happy New Year or more.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Yeah I'd rather take Johnny this year and then have 3 years of EO.

Here is a quote from a Creighton fan.

I don't think we need another Ethan Wragge in this class so I think the ship has sailed for Johnny and a CU career. If he really wants to be close he will go with UMKC, K-State or the like within a REALLY short drive of St Joe's.
Johnny from what I know never got interest from K-State. And as mentioned before UMKC doesn't have a baseball team. Am I the only one who sees the pieces falling in place?

I wouldn't forget about mizzou. They are a big 12 team, his home state, a pretty good basketball team so far this year, and have a pretty good baseball program currently as well.

                    • If he wants to play both it looks like we have about a 50/50 shot with Mizzou. Unless CU decides he's worth it to them.

                      • I wonder how pissed the CU baseball coach would (or will) be if Dana Altman says he doesn't want him. Probably something like this

By the way, Mizzou is about the same distance from Saint Joseph as Wichita is.

                        • Of course, there may be a chance that HCGM does not want to share one of his athletes with another sport..............

                          • I would not assume that KSU would not be interested in him.

Frank Martin was on record just this week talking about how they are putting a priority on recruiting and signing local (KC) kids to the program. He may have had a change of heart since last year.
