An article in his freshman year said he was averaging 24.5 a game. I don't think he is scoring that high anymore as he has evolved as a playmaker who can score in several ways. 17ppg last year is on my head but could be wrong. One of the best available point guards, he's in everyone's top 250 and top 150 for some.

The one thing that is obvious to me is that DJ is much more mature and strong and probably more prepared at this time to play Div. I. Holland may need a redshirt.

Suellentrop's article today says Bowles is also considering Providence, Middle Tennessee State and George Mason. It's not 100% clear to me if he obtained the info from a recent interview with Jordan Fair, Bowles' coach. I'm trying to get confirmation. Other media has been silent on who Bowles is now seriously considering. Southern Miss is one I thought might be a finalist since they had a home visit. SMU has been another possiblity, although less likely. In the fast lane
