oh look! another thread with wsu downers in it. shockernet amazes me sometimes. can we make a new forum for people who say they like wsu but are so smart that they cant support wsu or enjoy wsu successes. after all there are better schools out there so who are we to think we could compete with them.

if you don't want wsu to succeed please stop posting. i dont care how right or smart you are. when you constantly say negative stuff so you can say i told you so later, what does that really get you. no one cares if you are always on record being right. we want good recruits and we want to win. our coach is doing his part. thats all we can ask for. do we really need to be told its hopeless? thank you for that.

sorry, i didn't realize that you are a fan. your comment was misleading. usually fans get on board with fun possibilities. there is no need to dog something that won't even be an issue for several more years...

also being a little emotional goes hand in hand with being a fan. thats part of what makes watching sports fun.

My comment wasn't misleading. You guys started to get all defensive about what somebody who has actually seen him had to say about him and then I said who cares he isn't coming to WSU. Nothing mis leading about it, it's my belief that he won't be coming here. Then when pressed on the issue I even spelled it out.

I suppose if being a fan of WSU basketball means believing that kids rated as the #1 player in their class would honestly consider WSU then I guess I'm not an actual fan.

If it so troubles you and the others in the "shox over reality cult" just think of me as a rooter of WSU athletics as opposed to a fan of WSU athletics.

It's an important distinction. I couldn't have said it better myself. I am a fan of one school. I root for others depending on the situation but it is to less of a degree. Who is the school that you want the higher end recruits to be considering? For me, its WSU. Maybe WSU isn't that school for you and then it makes complete sense. If you do want that for WSU, then why say that stuff?
I think it would be neat to be able to recruit upper level players successfully. I agree with you that its very unlikely, but I do think its possible, and that appears to be the difference between you and me.
