He has skipped past U20 and is already playing for Israel's full on senior national team (and killing it so far).

Spain is ranked #1 in the world, with the USA being #2.

USA is comprised mostly of G Leaguers, many of which have NBA experience. The top 7 ranked teams seem to have a similar point total so I would group them as the first tier. The bulk of those players would be G League quality. Some NBA quality sprinkled in there but by and large G League.

Some of the logic in this thread would have eliminated considering Baker or Reaves because they only got their stats and looked good against low-level competition.

Holy crap the current National Team is STACKED with NBA players now. Including Kevin Durant.

          How are they ranked #2??

Asbjorn was not underused. HE COULDN'T PLAY DEFENSE AT THIS LEVEL! His offence was fine his last year here.

Maybe this kid could be a piece???, but he is not a major cog.

You're trolling right? His Defensive Rating was 16th in the entire country in 2020-2021.
To this day he's ranked 14th in career block percentage all-time for the AAC.

He brutalized the WAC defensively (yes, I know it's the WAC) with the number 1 ranking in Defensive Win Shares, 3rd in Defensive Box +/-, 2nd in Defensive Rating.

In 2018-2019 he only got 11 minutes per game ... yet still ended up 15th in the AAC for most blocks in that season.

For his career at WSU he averaged 8.4 minutes per game. That's stunningly low for a guy that got an NBA Summer League invite one year later. fHC3GM didn't know what he had with this guy, but most of us could see it plainly. One of the very few gripes I had about fHC3GM was his mistrust/misuse of Asbjorn.

One of Noam's teammates on the Israel national team is Deni Avdija, who plays with the Washington Wizards. He's on the same team as an NBA player.

Okay Kung Wu. Here is my Final 3. 1. Kenny P. -want him back. There are times we could go with Germany and KP at the 4 and 5 and thrive well in this here AAC which will still be a tough Conference in my opinion. 2. NOAM, yes NOAM. Just do it. 3. Get the very best player we can sign period.. A splash that blows off the roof. No parching or dehydration allowed. Let's go.

Agree about AM and GM not using him nearly enough. I was constantly making comments way back when about how good AM was and could be. An intangible few people ever noticed defensively was when he would slide in the paint towards a driver and see that driver abort the drive and kick it out somewhere. I see some of that in KP also.

FWIW. I heard from a reliable source that KP's brother is coming to Sunrise next year and KP is planning on being a Shocker.

                            • Hope so Shocktoberfest. Just to get a starter of promise returning back to rejoin our rotation players and new recruits would be groovy. What an assist man KP was last Season.

                              Thank you.

                              • I like the looks of this kid, but I’m not here for the Gal Mekel slander…he had more than a cup of coffee in the NBA, which is more than I would expect of anybody else on our current roster.
