Oh no! Where will we find another available guard who had more career turnovers than assist and shot 30% from 3. Amazing stats especially when you consider that’s while playing big sky, horizon, summit. What a shot taker we missing out on.
For all the bitching about percentages dropping at Koch, this guy would have been scoring for the other team.

Worse? Dude has never shot better than 34.5 percent from field while playing at Idaho, UIC, UMKC. This guy sucks I don’t care what his pts per game was. He averaged double the turnovers to assist last year and God only knows how many “turnovers” from terrible shots he took. Just those don’t officially show up.

I don't see him reveling in it. Just making observations on what we know and contributing to discussions. It's already pretty quiet as a whole due to lack of news and overall excitement about much of anything.
I don't know if I'm familiar with everyone we're linked to, but I can't recall being very excited about anyone that may be left. I could be forgetting someone, but it seems that the intriguing options who have actually had some production value are off the table. Those we've signed are lacking those stats that wow you or give you really good vibes. Stick, like the rest of us, just wants to get excited about Shocker basketball again and it's not an easy task at the moment unless you have a really rosy and positive outlook on anything and everything regardless of actual data points.
It's fine to be that way. But some people are wired to look at data and analyze based off of known quantities and maybe mix in some of the eye test.
Until we land someone who fills those points, there's going to remain some skepticism from Stick and others about where we're at as a program and justifiably so. I don't think landing Mitchell would really have aleviated much of that other than he'd be the first guy we signed who seems to consistently score. Granted, he took a **** ton of shots to do so which doesn't excite many of us, but outside of a big guy on a bad team, we don't have anyone who's consistently filled up the stat sheet, but we have some athletes that some people are hopeful they can. I can understand why some of those people choose to be excited. But I can see why those like Stick are more hesitant to do so.
