This article isn't just about him. But he does have a 7'4" teammate from Poland. His HS is moving to the upper division of private schools next year which include some consitant national powers. He should get quite a challenge.

Going from a very small 1a in KS to big time basketball in the East must have been tough. I hope he decides to come back, especially if he ends up being a couple(or more) inches taller.

Says he just moved from Kansas to Maryland, hopefully he wants to come back to his home state.
Here's a quote from the Baltimore Sun. Hopefully he liked Kansas more than his mom.

"My mom really wanted to get out of Kansas, didn't like it there," said Philmore, a standout at Reebok Camop Next in Neptune, N.J., this past summer. "So, she looked on the Internet and decided it would be good to come East."
    Hopefully they lived in Lawrence

"After shining on Wednesday night, Isaiah Philmore started slow against Horizon and looked frustrated against Withey's imposing 7-foot frame. But as the game went along, the sophomore's play improved. Philmore finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds." Rivals
