Really it's that simple? Well let's check out that hypothesis. Here are the fg% from 2-point and 3-point range for Tyson, Dex, Alterique, and Saunders
    2-Point FG% 3-Point FG%
    Etienne .342 .392
    Dennis .411 .336
    Gilbert .395 .289
    Saunders .477 .217
In other words, despite having the worst 3-point shooting percentage of the group, Saunders has the best 2-point shooting. Despite having the best 3-point shooting of the group, Tyson has the worst 2-point shooting.

Maybe things aren't so simple after all.

Serious question: what’s a turnover rate?

            It’s a stat from kenpom
Turnover Rate (TORate): This is the percentage of personal possessions used on turnovers. It can be highly dependent on context. Players that do little passing or dribbling (i.e. spot-up shooters) will have an artificially deflated TO%.

So 31% of the time that he touched the ball ended in a turnover?

Apparently not. He had 31 assists and 31 turnovers this past season in 22 games played averaging 15.3 mpg. That's an average of 1.4 assists per game. If he had 31 turnovers and that was 37% of the times he touched the ball he would have on touched the ball 100 times are less than five times a game. Even if you just counted his 31 turnovers, 31 assists, 67 field goal attempts, some portion of his 28 free throw attempts, his 31 rebounds and his he would be at 174 touches and that counts nothing for his 13 steals and whatever number of times he possessed the ball when none of these things happened.

I believe it’s not every time he touches the ball but but every time he ends a possession in either a made shot, missed shot, FT, or turnover. So 30 percent of the time that he uses a possession it was a turnover.

                      That's an extremely misleading "stat".

He may be, but the fact is he can't shoot and that is why other than Cincinnati, his high D ! offers were sparse out of HS.

                              Decision coming on Thursday.

BYU, UNLV, Wichita State appear to be the front-runners.

Why? Because it may lead people to an opinion on this kid that is contrary to yours?
