Rian for 18 in a 47 - 38 victory. The only player on either team in double figures.

Very impressive stats, especially the rebounding by the second coming of Clevin Hannah.

Maybe we should create a new stat to help pin feel more comfortable the rest of this year and next: instead of assists/turnovers ratio, how about assists+steals/turnovers? For starters, that should make Armstead look even better than he already does (which is pretty good as it is).

He does seem to be a bit of a TO machine at 3.64 TOpg so far this season.

I noticed one game in which his game mirror a movie title: The Good - 27 points, 10-20 FG, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, 5 steals. The Bad - 2 technical fouls. And The Ugly - 1-7 from 3, 8 TOs. By the way, his team won by 17.

Turnovers can be somewhat nebulous, particularly in high school. A good pass can be flubbed by the receiver and the passer gets the blame. Just like the pass for an easy layup should be an assist, but the guy misses the bunny.

Very true, im4. And for that matter, the T's can be semi-bogus, too. But I don't think Marshall will be inclined to accept two T's from Holland in a month, much less a game.

Two Ts in a game is horrible. But were they because of attitude? Did he dunk and and ruled to have spent too much time on the rim? Those can sometimes be BS. We had a kid in HS that got one on a breakaway as he held on to let the trailer go by him and then dropped. It was also his 6th dunk in what was turning into a blowout and I'm certain that's the only reason it was called. Did he accidentally reach across the inbounds line and hit the ball? Stupid mistake but not one to worry about.

Absolutely. Please, my post was not to mean anything negative about Holland. Ria'n was probably scratching his head after that one game about how most things went so good and others not.

I wasn't picking on your comment, just stating my belief, remembering how good the guards looked when passing to Antoine Carr and how there passes seemed to be less accurate the following year.

Looks like he is one of 814 so nominated.
