Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

    • In another thread someone asked for info on the new recruits. I chose to bump them. Hopefully I didn't ruin your Saturday.

      • So, after Shocker Madness:

        I doubt he redshirts.

He looks comfortable among upperclass D1 talent.

He can board about as well as any guard we have.

His athleticism and anticipation make him play a lot bigger than he is.

If he can shoot as advertised, look out.

        • He can dunk so well that we may need him at the 5 when Coleby and CJ get in foul trouble

          • For those that got to watch him last night, how are his hops compared with David Kyles?

            • Wow. What a dunker. Great hops. Strange looking form on his shot. He only shot a couple of times so not a good sampling but didn't make either shot. His shot wasn't impressive last night but he only shot a couple of times.

I noticed his athleticism at practice, but it was in full 100% explosive mode last night. He has Spud Webb-like hops....does that help?

Very similar. He used his legs, bent down a little bit and then sprung upward really quickly, causing him to come off the floor. Then he landed. It was a lot like how Kyles did it.

David is taller. This kid is my height...5'10". That might even be pushing it. When I stood and talked to this kid I was able to look him straight in the eyes. Kyles I always had to look up a little bit. I was always impressed with Kyles' hops. But this kid is a little more impressive IMHO. Spudd Web hops is correct.

Kyles was what...6'3"? This kid is 5'10". Best ups I've seen from a Shocker in perhaps ever. His dunks were amazing for 2 reasons: 1) their difficulty 2) his size. When you consider both, he was amazing--absolutely amazing.

I agree...with only one true point guard, I doubt he redshirts. Baker did look good at the point and could free up another shooter if he plays the 1 guard.

                            • How does his leaping ability compare to Warren (Armstrong) Jabali?

                              • Kyles glided a little more IIR. Holland is explosive! He gets up in a hurry. He has that same type of body control in air that Kyles had though.

Also, Coleby and carter were pretty explosive.
