247Sports.com's "Crystal Ball" has Tyrone going to WSU so says Jeff Ermann of the Maryland Insider. Turgeon has been recruiting Taylor.

Looks like Ermann was right.

We've been on Taylor for a long time. I look at this as another loyalty recruit.

We know of two seniors, but I could imagine as many as five openings next year one way or another. So a) I hope all the commitments hold up and actually sign, and b) I won't be surprised to see another commitment.

Whatever happens, I'm confident Marshall has everything under control -- he knows his numbers and has proven he can make things work, and do it the right way besides. The only person who has ever exhibited any hard feelings about not having a spot at WSU under the Marshall Plan was Joe Mitchell, and I'm sorry that didn't work out, but from all indications the problem there had more to do with Mitchell's misunderstanding than with what WSU offered. So, as the saying goes, I'm not worried -- and I won't be worried if someone else commits, either.

@ebosshoops: With Landry Shamet and Tyrone Taylor in the fold, Wichita State has all KC backcourt down the road. Trying to remember that happening before

Coach Marshall does a great job recruiting, especially the guards he brings in. Maryland and San Diego State was recruiting Tyrone Taylor too. It was San Diego State that marched into KU last Season and beat them. I like these 2 new guards lots. It would not surprise me in the least if we sign 1 more player early that plays the 3 slot.

I do remember this quote from Sully's article: "'Armstead being a lefty — I was thinking that could be me, a left-handed guard, getting my team to the Final Four,' he said." and thought to myself, wow, if this guy is half as good as a freshman as Malcolm was his senior year, I'll take him. I mean, Malcolm's southpaw approach really threw the opposing defense for a loop. Can you imagine what his future is going to be with 3G guiding him? I think this is a real sleeper pick that everyone will be talking about in two years. Congratulations young man, you got your dream!
