That's not Ndiaye with the redturd coach. It's Marvins Petion.

  • Should this guy sign he would immediately be WSU's 5 with the best potential. His vertical is just fine. For comparison judging from his film and watching in person, AM appears to have a vertical of approximately 12.7 inches.

        Say it isn't so...

Echoes of Ryan Bradley's physics defying negative vertical still haunt my dreams. Turge's boy down in Bradenton, Fl. really played the role of flimflam man when reporting how the big fella was driving "coast to coast" and finishing above the rim. Solid career at Newman tho...

          24 inches? Really?

Just for comparison some standing verticals from some recent centers at the NBA draft combine
          Cole Aldrich 23in
          Demarcus Cousins 23.5in
          Rudy Gobert 25in
          Kelly Olynk 24.5

24 inches is on the low end for most centers at the NBA draft combine but for a incoming freshman it certainly is above average. However the 24 inches was most likely measured when this kid was 17 and working in a college weight program for a few years could do wonders for a vertical jump. Also only the top 10- 15 centers from all of college basketball even get invited to the combine.

        • The UNLV basketball team picked up an unexpected commit for next season on Tuesday evening, according to an ESPN.com report. ...

Looks like UNLV is out of the running as they've just signed another project big man. And it appears they are negative on scholarships remaining as well.

So then it sounds like we may have offered Ndiaye the Sunrise option.

Your last comment about wanting someone to help immediately sure seems to point to Arop, right?

Amin would be the most ready to contribute right away.

              • And with Amin in town.

                • Ahh that's too bad. Was kinda hoping for this guy. But the Nebraska young man ain't too shabby...and probably more ready to play D-I ball.

                  • I don't know if Amin being in town tonight means anything. This was probably scheduled well in advance of the announcement. I am not ready to write AN off. We were his last visit, and Georgetown only reached out to him two nights ago.
