"Fred VanVleet was easily one of the most asked about players in this tournament. He has led Pryme Tyme to the semi-finals with wins over the Atlanta Celtics, Illinois Warriors, and Michigan Hurricanes. Van Vleet's handles are so pure and once he puts a defender in a trance with his skill Fred can create or hit with range. Wichita State got a pure steal."

"Steal" or not, our staff busted their asses on this kid, essentially targeting him to lead the program for the next 4 seasons. He liked everything we had to offer, and I am certain our guys are thrilled and looking forward to seeing (perhaps) 2 impact freshmen next season in FVV and RB on the floor.

The future is bright.....and the present doesn't look too bad either.

Fred and Pryme Tyme just defeated the loaded Houston Defenders. They will play Indiana Elite for the Championship. Defenders are loaded with the Harrison twins, Andrew is ranked #1 for 2013 and his brother is in the top 10. Shaquille Cleare also. Big time opposition.

                Does RB = Ron Baker?

Pretty sure. Those who've seen him seem to be impressed.

Absulutely loving Fred Van Vleet. His handles are so good they just stun people and while people are shook he can blow by or pullup. Grade A

Pryne Tyme up 50-43 with six and a half left. Van Vleet is completely controlling this game. Ferrell is so good but Van Vleet is in control

Wichita St got a good one in PG Fred Van Vleet. Just came up with a pair of slick assists for layups

Good grief. Van Vleet is just dominating a bad 2nd half. 4 or 5 ast plus a drive and a pullup.

Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

                        • All the FVV talk from these summer games is getting me excited. The kid is obviously the real deal and had he enjoyed it and wanted to drag the recruiting thing on longer he'd have a number of offers from BcS schools. He sounds like he'll be a hell of a talent here.

Ron Baker has it all. If he had played city league last year... Would have had much more exposure. I think he's the best freshman we have this summer. He's closest thing to a "sure thing". He already "belongs". I'm super excited to see him and FVV playing together! Both seem to have excellent bball IQ.
