        • 0 for 2 on the final scolarship big man predictions. Any more guesses out there or was this supposed to be legit?

          • It was legitimate. I believe Carl Hall had a last minute change of heart in our favor. This one in USM's favor.

                • I think Dewitt would of been a great addition. Super athletic, but he only got to play in 9 games this year due to injury and he has some offensive development to do. I don't think it was a given he would be a star but he would of certainly helped insure a very good frontcourt. Sorry we didn't get him, but wish him the best in the future.

Marshall has never left a scholarship unfilled and I doubt if it happens this year. However my guess is Baker's deal is set and will not change.

You could be right. Here's another transfer list although ******* is not doing a good job of updating. Just on a glance I noticed that he has not listed Jay Canty's decision to attend App. State.

Note that former Sunrise player Leon Cooper is transferring from Utah State. Since he redshirted last year, good chance he will go JC for a year.

                          • Rivals contributor Garrett Tucker says DeWitt's coach (Juco?) told him that DeWitt isn't leaving USM to follow Heiar ...

Just read an article that suggested JUCO transfer Keith DeWitt is trying to get out of his LOI from Southern Miss to follow Greg Heiar to Wichita State. Just asked his coach about it, and he said," Not true. He's going to Southern Miss."

This goes in the "confirmation" category.
