Keith DeWitt (# 5 in our Top 100), 6-foot-10/215, from Chipola College leads the way. He is extremely long, athletic and has an excellent skill set for somebody his size. There have been rumors that he would follow Heiar to Wichita State, but it seems that he will stay at Southern Miss.

30 days from him asking out. After that I'm not sure what happens. If they say he can't than I don't know if he's absolutely staying or if there is any kind of meeting with the NCAA or LOI board or whatever to make a decision on if he has reason enough to leave or something.

If he really wanted out they should do the right thing and release him. It wouldn't be right to hold a kid hostage when he doesn't want to be there.

Maybe, although if Southern Miss doesn't want to release him, I highly doubt that DeWitt would win an appeal because even the NLI instruction video about getting a release notes that a coach leaving is not valid grounds for a mandated release.

It would probably be similar to the Bryce Brown transfer. He would have to decide to walk on and then a release would probably come during the summer. But I think that if they see he's serious, they'll release him. They probably want him to sweat.
