Landry will be setting up 5 visits. Missouri, Missouri State, WSU, Minnesota, UTEP and Miami are currently after him the hardest.

I think we can safely scratch Missouri.

I don't think Arkansas needs anybody if Anderson can keep the recruiting class together. It's a great one. Three very good players from Arkansas. Probably a pretty good chance they want to stay with the home school.

Trop, do you remember the rail thin kid from Arkansas that visited WSU last year (I think). I remember that he was highly thought of.....

I think you're thinking of Hooper Vint?

I believe David Rivers visited us. He signed with Nebraska. Going on my memory so I might be wrong. He was thought of as the 4th or 5th best player in Arkansas. I can't remember Vent visiting.

Visit schedule is Minnesota next weekend, followed by WSU, then Tennessee and Michigan State. Perhaps UTEP at the end.

Minnesota article on his upcoming visit. BTW, just talk, but some believe Tubby really wants out of Minnesota.

If Landry comes here, he would get a good share of playing time. Probably a split with Smith. Next year's team would probably be a team by "committee" again with a ten man rotation, the six returners, Landry, EO, White and Hall.

The pen will be ready for his signature when he visits WSU. The signing period will be on.

Matty B has to make this happen.

I would be willing to bet GOOD money he is doing what he can.

With Marshall showing his commitment to WSU for the forseeable future, Matty B in his ear, the available playing time and the best fanbase in the nation. How could he say no??? 8)
