All 4 sprinters missed the finals in the 60 dash.

Not a stellar day for the men.

Yikes.....400 men went out and really laid some eggs.

We are fortunate to sneak 2 into the finals in the last 2 spots and they aren't our fastest at all.

Keith Blanding and Justin Cole make tomorrow's final.

Yeah tough day for the men but they should move up to battle for 3rd to 4th on Sunday. Jared Foley missed the 60m finals by .001, thats one-thousandth of a second!!! Thats the width of your credit card! I think these guys will battle up to a better finish than it looks right now in the standings. The 200, 400, 800, mile, hurdles, TJ, 4x4, heptathlon should all be good scoring events.

No real change to the Hept standings after the 60 hurdles. Dickman falls to 4th although very close.

2 events left....Vault and 1k. Can we finish better than Clark and Gooris from UNI?

Holy cow....huge happenings in the hept pole vault!

Leader and mortal lock for 1st, Mat Clark from UNI gets NO HEIGHT and falls out of contention!!!!

Daniel Gooris from UNI has a tiny 4 point lead going to the 1000 over Justin Taylor from WSU.

Chris Dickman is about 180 points back so it looks to be 3rd for Chris. Daniel and Justin will race for 1st.....whoever wins should take the title.

                    Come on Justin!!!!!

We could also use an extra point from Justin Hickey with a strong 1000.

I can find no times for Gooris from UNI....I have to think he is pretty strong. Dickman should be FAST in the 1k.....very fast.

It looks like each second is about 10 points.....Dickman could beat Taylor by 20-25 seconds and pass him.....can he do the same to Gooris?

I doubt it but the results should be in soon.

Dickman should win the race....but by how much? He needs to beat both Gooris and Taylor by about 19-20 seconds to win.

No blood in the 1k. Gooris wins easily....Taylor hangs on for second, Dickman takes third and Hickey 7th. Good results for us.

                        After 6 events scored:

                        UNI 56
                        SIU 46.5
                        ILS 30
                        INS 36.5
                        WSU 37
                        DU 25

From last to 3rd in one event. Not bad.

Eddie McCain and Patrick Jackson just missed scoring....which hurts.
