Rafael Becker in the house with his second consecutive 68 to post a -6 score for the tournament and for all intents and purposes he will win medalist honors in probably be the MVC Men's Golfer of the Year.
Louis Cohen Boyer had a few bumps over the back 9 and finishes at +4 on the day. But he, Hunter and Calvin together with Drakes Deven Leland tied for 2nd individually.
Louis is just a sophomore BTW.
Rafael, Louis, Hunter and Calvin will all receive MVC All-Conference honors and with Rafael the likely Golfer of the Year.
Great job Men. Now let'd do some damage in the NCAA Tournament.

:poster_shocks:
Hunter's score card has been updated and he is now -1 for the day and -2 overall. The men win by 32 strokes.
Valley Indoor Track & Field Championship for the Shocker Women. 3 Shocker Ladies and 1 Shocker Man qualifying for NCAA Indoor Championship meet.
Shocker women's golf team dealing with injuries finished 2nd the the Valley after being picked 5th.
More to come. MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships coming up in about 10 days.
We're going to have some kids go to the NCAA Championships in track no doubt.
Not sure this golf team is the best one we've had, but it's deep. I suspect they've got a decent shot at making the finals.
If either softball or baseball could pull a Creighton (ie get into the tournament when you have no business there otherwise) it would cap off a tremendous year of Shocker Athletics.

Thanks @jdmee. That put's Hunter in 2nd alone. Calvin and Louis tie for 3rd. When your team captures 1st and 2nd plus have two more in a three-way tie for 3rd your chances of winning the tournament are, ohhh, about 100%.
Simply an ouststanding and dominant performance by the Shockers.
When the Shockers won on this same golf course in 2009, led by co-medalists Dustin Garza and Connor McHenry, the team shot an 882 and won by 15 strokes.
This Shocker team posted a winning score of 858. I will point out that the write-up on the 2009 tournament did say they played in very storng winds on Day 1 (the first 36 holes). Sounds like conditions for this year's tournament were near perfect throughout. Wouldn't the Lady golfers have loved that a week ago.
I was wrong about the post-season awards. Rafael Becker did not win Golfer of the Year award. That honor went to fellow Shocker Hunter Sparks. That's good since Rafael was last year's Golfer of the Year.
I was also wrong about 4 Shockers making the All-Conference team. Add Tyler Gann to the list as 5 Shockers are on the 10-man All-Conference Team.
HC Grier Jones is the Valley Coach of the Year for the 10th time. I think Coach Jones likes winning trophies.
Shocks have won 12 Valley titles in the last 15 years under HCGJ.
Grier Jones was named MVC Coach of the Year and Hunter Sparks was named the league's Golfer of the Year. Four other Shockers earned all-conference nods.
Huge kudos and congratulations to Coach Jones, Hunter, Rafael, Tyler, Calvin and Louis.
The Wichita State University men's golf team captured its sixth-straight Missouri Valley Conference Championship with a record-setting 32-stroke victory at Dalhousie Country Club.
