AAC Indoor Championships - Final Results
Men’s Teams Scores
1. South Florida – 156
2. Charlotte – 105.5
3. UTSA – 80
4. Tulsa – 79
5. Wichita State – 70
6. Rice – 68
7. Memphis – 36
8, North Texas – 35.5
9. East Carolina – 31
South Florida, as expected, pretty much dominated the team scoring. The Shocks were just a little over my 67 point projection for them although I had them finishing 4th. Tulane appears to have a men's track and filed team but apparently did not enter a team in the AAC Championships. Not sure what the deal is with that. Saving some money?
Heading into the final event of the meet, the 4x400 relay, Rice led the Shocks 67-64. The Shocks finished 3rd in the 4x400 to pick up 6 points while Rice finished 8th good for only 1 point as the Shockers moved from 6th place to 5th place.
All-Confernce Honors were earned by Adria Navajon and Hudson Bailey in the heptathlon, Brady Palen in the high jump, and Joakim Generoux, Jason Parrish, Bryan Haney, and Trace Spires teamed up in the 4x400 relay.
